Cedric the Entertainer

Cedric Antonio Kyles, best known as Cedric “The Entertainer,” is a trailblazing executive producer, director, actor, comedian, and novelist with over 30 years in the industry. Through his production company, A Bird and A Bear Entertainment, he has spearheaded numerous projects alongside Eric C. Rhone including the upcoming Paramount+ comedy CRUTCH, the Las Vegas residency Love & Laughter with Toni Braxton, and more. 

He debuted his first hardcover novel, FLIPPING BOXCARS, in 2023 and released the paperback version earlier this Fall. 

 On television, Cedric stars in and executive produces the CBS hit series THE NEIGHBORHOOD, which earned him a 2023 NAACP Image Award, and hosts THE GREATEST #ATHOME VIDEOS. His CBS takeover doesn’t stop there, with the latest development of TOKEN WHITE FRIENDS, a comedy focused on parenthood and culture clashes. Cedric has also co-starred in KINGS OF BBQ for Hulu with Anthony Anderson and has previously hosted the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards. His other TV appearances include THE LAST O.G., THE STEVE HARVEY SHOW, and WHO WANTS TO BE A MILLIONAIRE. 

 Cedric’s film credit includes the BARBERSHOP franchise, THE ORIGINAL KINGS OF COMEDY, and FIRST REFORMED alongside Ethan Hawke. His distinctive voice has brought characters to life in hits like ICE AGE, MADAGASCAR, DR. DOLITTLE 2, and PLANES. In 2019, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 

 Through The Kyles Family Foundation, Cedric is dedicated to philanthropy, supporting charities such as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Boys & Girls Club of America, and the United Negro College Fund.
