The StarDome has been hosting “Open Mic Nite” since 1983. The show features amateurs from all over who think they have what it takes to be a stand-up comedian. Thousands have taken a shot at it, and some have done really well! Here are a few who have made it: Ricky Smiley, Mickey Dean, Henry Welch, Matt Davis, and Heath Hyche. We just hosted our annual “Open Mic Nite Finale” and it was a hit! Owner, Bruce Ayers, says that it was the best amateur show The Comedy Club has hosted in a long time! Tony Ladu took 1st place, Clayburn Cox was our runner-up, and Tut took 3rd place. If you missed this show, come check out our next open mic nite shows on October 16th and 23rd, and November 6th and 13th! See you there!
